There you are waiting outside your lecture hall to go in and take the exam, and and annoying person or group is reciting things you’ve never even heard of! Don’t let it scare you!
Remember, when people are rattling off things right before an exam, they are naming the things they know. It doesn’t mean that they also know all the things you know, and it certainly doesn’t mean that their little items are important in the eyes of the professor, either!
Now, if it’s not exam time, like if it’s a week before the test, then sure, go back and see if what those people were talking about is something you need to know. It’s always good to have another point of view, when it comes to courses with massive amounts of material, and a new group may even provide welcome information about how this instructor does things.
But when you’re waiting to go into an exam, either wait with people you trust, like your study group, or wait alone, where you can look at those last-minute little things that just don’t seem to stick with you long. Do whatever makes you feel your best, calm, confident self, and don’t let other people mess you up!
