Sit up front in class

Post image for Sit up front in class

We all know that if we go to a group event of any kind, we are more engaged with the speaker if we’re no more than a few yards away from him or her. In fact, there’s often a whole different environment going on in the back of a lecture hall or classroom, and the difference can mean that you miss out on the prof’s voice inflections or even some main points. Sure, if you’re sleepy or just don’t feel like having the prof notice you on a given day, it’s very tempting to sit in back, but you’re going to class in order to get good notes and learn, right? Otherwise, you’re wasting valuable time. Your time.

Also, if you’ve always been mildly nearsighted, just enough so things are a little fuzzy, why not get some glasses too? You could get a hard case for them and just wear them in class. If you’ve never had glasses or contact lenses, you may be surprised at how clear the world can look!
